DynaFlex® Canted Coil

NPI DynaFlex energizers are Canted (or slanted) Coil springs that produce a very flat load curve when compressed. They are used to energize U-cup seals and other components providing constant predictable loads throughout their wide deflection range. Made from 300 series stainless steels and other alloys, DynaFlex springs provide corrosion resistance in severe service applications. They are available in Light, Medium and High load series in both standard and custom sizes to meet your specific application requirements.

NPI offers their DynaFlex Canted Coil springs with Gold, Silver and Nickel plating for use in Electronic and Semiconductor applications. With base spring materials in 300 series stainless steels, beryllium copper and other alloys, these springs are used in Electronic Connectors and EMI Shielding for latching, holding and contact components where predictable and constant loads are required. They are offered from 1/32" to 3/8" radial cross sections in multiple loads and materials with diameters as small as .050".
